I love this family, and so appreciate teenage boys who are willing to show up for their mom like this. We had a great time highlighting their loves: guitars and shoes!

This job is special because people I normally wouldn’t get to see often pop back in to my life like clockwork once a year. They’ve moved on to other parts of town, other jobs, or have just been busy! I am so fortunate to be able to meet back up with them and catch up while we work. I love that part of this job, and I am always so happy to hear from old friends!

I often have clients who just want a few photos instead of a more complex photo session. Instead of offering mini sessions only once a year, they are always an option when you book. I love doing that, because it gives people a chance to see if they click with me, and it also means I get to see clients more often than I would otherwise! I was so happy to meet back up with sweet Evan and his awesome parents for a quick session at Menil Park.

Claire and Bradley are bright and active two year olds with big plans! Our session was a lot of fun. I plan to do a post on photographing children at this age, since it’s so different from the first year “milestone” sessions I normally do. Anyway, these two twins were awesome, and it was really fun trying to capture their personalities while they explored.
